We will discuss your objectives with you and agree the standards that we should use to meet those objectives.
The system is designed to ensure that it maps your processes and procedures whilst meeting the requirements of the standard(s).
When more than one standard is used we ensure that the system is fully integrated to eliminate repetition and improve efficiency.
Implementation is all about working with your team to ensure that they understand the system and how they can contribute to making it work for you.
Working with you we will assist you to set objectives that are measurable and develop action plans to meet those objectives.
We will carry out internal audits to ensure that the system meets the requirements of the standards and that your team are working to the processes and procedures set out in the system.
Based on the audit findings we will agree corrective actions and check that they have been actioned.
To complete the implementation we will assist you to produce data and support you in carrying out a full management review.
If you are going for certification of the system by an external assessment body we will help you to select the most appropriate company and represent you during the assessment process.
Continual improvement is a common theme in the ISO suite of standards that we support. Improvement comes from understanding performance and implementing action plans based on the data collected.
It’s therefore vital that you measure and monitor areas of your business’s performance to identify opportunities for improvement and then take action to make the improvement.
Some are areas that you monitor will be required by the standards that you choose to adopt, but others are areas that we have learnt from experience can also help identify opportunities for improvement.
Required areas that are monitored as requirements of the standards include:
Customer satisfaction – a requirement of ISO 9001 is that the business monitors the degree to which customers’ requirements have been met. We will help you set up the process that you use and offer a support service to carry out the assessment at the agreed intervals
Internal audit – results of internal audits will identify where improvements should be made and feed into corrective actions.
Nonconformity and corrective action – helping your team to understand how reporting nonconformities contributes to continual improvement should open the door to opportunities for improvement.
Management review – a planned process of management review will help you to identify areas for improvement of the management system and business performance.
Other areas that should be monitored are agreed during the system design and implementation phases of the project.
All businesses should be aware of the legislation, regulation and other requirements that they must comply with and take into account changes that affect them as they occur.
A key component of our systems is the Legislation Register which sets out each piece of legislation or regulation that must be complied with and how you demonstrate compliance.
We set up the register and after establishing, based on the activities that you carry out, which legislation or regulation is applicable will populate the register for you.
As part of an on-going support package, we can review and update the register to ensure that compliance is maintained as things change.
Each of the standards that we support include requirements to identify and address risks and opportunities. As part of the design and implementation of the system we will help you to ensure that risks are identified, recorded in a register and that the appropriate measures have been put in place to either eliminate the risk or bring it to a level that you consider acceptable.
As part of our support service, we will regularly review these risk assessments to ensure that changes in circumstance are recognised and taken into account.
Each of the key suite of standards include a requirement for internal auditing of the management system.
We will set up a programme of internal audits that will ensure that the management system is effective and meets the requirements of the adopted standards and as part of our support service we will conduct the audits to ensure objectivity and impartiality of the process.
When conducting an internal audit programme we follow the guidelines set out in ISO19011-Guidelines for auditing management systems.
